On 3 September 2021, at 18:30, Diligentia College 2021 Orientation Ceremony began. First, led by Collegemates, Diligentia first-year students went to the function rooms to watch the orientation ceremony online.

After the brilliant dancing performance from Diligentia PinkPunk, Vice President Zhu Shiping gave a welcoming speech. Next, Professor Gu Yang, Associate Vice President and Master of Diligentia College, warmly welcomed newcomers and exhorted them to stay connected to the world and get along with others.

Finally, it was the scholarship and outstanding student assistant award ceremony. When the live ceremony ended, first-year students, organized by their College mates, rushed out of the rooms and threw themselves into the ice-breaking games, through which they made friends and had fun.
