The functional rooms at Diligentia College are categorized into six major types: study rooms, fitness rooms, music rooms, leisure rooms, calligraphy and painting rooms, and multi-function rooms. These spaces not only provide students with an environment conducive to learning but also offer essential infrastructure to support the College’s commitment to whole-person education.

Within Diligentia College’s functional rooms, students can engage in quiet, focused study in the self-study rooms, or engage in dynamic discussions in seminar rooms that spark intellectual exchange. They can sweat it out in the dance and fitness rooms, embracing the vitality of youth; explore musical rhythm and nurture artistic sensibilities in the music rooms; savor the aroma of tea and find inner calm in the tea room; or experience the elegance of Chinese calligraphy through brush and ink in the calligraphy room. In addition, students may participate in a variety of themed courses and lectures hosted by the College within these spaces, broadening their horizons and enriching their extracurricular lives. Here, every student is encouraged to explore their talents, unlock their potential, and create boundless possibilities.
Students of Diligentia College may make reservations for these facilities through the “CUHK-Shenzhen Online Booking System.”
The college opening hours for visitors are 09:00 - 21:00.
The opening hours for students to use Function Rooms are 08:00 - 23:00.
How to book a function room?
1.Log into MyPortal（https://i.cuhk.edu.cn）。
2.Add “Venue Booking” to “My Application” in “Application Center” on the upper right side. (Procedures: Application Center-System Applications-Venue Booking)
3.Choose “Diligentia” and book your own room.
4.Bring your student card to the Reception after successfully receiving the confirmation email and the property management staff will open the door for you.
Function Rooms on Lower Campus also need to be reserved through CUHK-Shenzhen Portal Cloud Platform. You can bring your student card to Property Service Centre (near Teaching Building D) to get a room key after booking online successfully.
