1 February 2022 was the first day of the Chinese lunar new year.

However, due to the outbreak of Covid-19 in Shenzhen, many students could not return home and reunite with their families. To ease the homesickness of these students, Diligentia College prepared colorful activities for them to enjoy the festival.

On 31 January 2022, New Year’s Eve, students gathered to dine and watch the Spring Festival Gala. In the next five days of the new year, students saw movies, sang songs at the Atrium of Diligentia College, did yoga, had a pizza potluck party, and made dumplings themselves. Diligentia became a home away from home for them, chasing away the blues and loneliness.
