2020 marks the 40th anniversary of the establishment of Shenzhen Special Economic Zone, and Diligentia College also has its fourth birthday. On such occasion, we invite Prof.Lidi Wang, Vice Dean of the School of Humanities and Social Sciences, to give us a lecture about his translation of the book Learning from Shenzhen

As a translator, Prof. Wang believes that the significance of translation is to break through the language barrier and enable people of different nationalities to achieve cross-cultural and interdisciplinary understanding.

Prof. Wang offered many examples from the translation of Learning from Shenzhen, helping the students learn the difficulty as well as the charm of translation. In the end, Prof. Wang encouraged students to face difficulties and develop the academic spirit of never giving up.
