On 4 December 2020, Ms. Zhou Ying, the financial risk analyst of the Middle East, was invited to share with Diligentia students about the social achievements that Israel has made through innovation.

To explain innovation’s role in Israel’s development, Ms. Zhou quoted the words of the former Israeli Prime Minister Shimon Peres: “It is because we have nothing that we can create everything. In addition, we have always taken education as the foundation of our nation.”

In Ms. Zhou’s view, the essence of innovation is to create greater value with lower costs. University students are expected to find their direction in life so that they can set achievable goals and devote themselves to innovation in response to social needs.
