December 02, 2021 Resident Student Association of Diligentia College (RSADC)
On 22 November 2021, RSADC invited Dr. Gregory Jones-Katz to talk about his book Deconstruction: An American Institution and introduce deconstruction to students.

Dr. Gregory Jones-Katz defined deconstruction as “a set of reading techniques that identifies the paradoxes or contradictions of a text.” He then introduced the crisis of Yale undergraduate literature education and explained the literature course “Literature X.” Dr. Gregory Jones-Katz also talked about some of the critical figures of deconstruction.

Finally, he mentioned the cultural politics of feminism. It was deconstruction that promoted research progress on the topic.
