At Diligentia College, she was like an arrow poised for flight — sharpened by knowledge, her direction became ever clearer. As a curious and eager freshman, she dove headfirst into campus life, participating in events like the Mid-Autumn Carnival and Freshman Cup, relishing every challenge and feeling a deep sense of belonging. The warmth of the college — from the dorm staff to Tutors and Wardens — became her guiding constellation, leaving a lasting mark in her memories.

Life Beyond Boundaries

University, a sanctuary of wisdom, was also a dynamic arena for Li Sumeng. In her third year, she journeyed across Europe and the Americas, gaining valuable overseas study experience that strengthened her mindset and broadened her worldview. Interacting with international friends and immersing herself in diverse cultures constantly reminded her: “Life is not a track, but an open field.”

Through organizing business job-seeking communities and leading initiatives at CIDE, she honed her leadership and collaborative skills. Her willingness to share is one of her defining traits — she often offers her own experiences and advice to peers and younger students. “Learn by doing” is not just a motto to her; it’s a way of life.

On this ever-challenging stage, she cultivated poise and maturity through excellent communication and coordination. She firmly believes that in the grand game of life, empathy and generosity are key — embrace the world with grace and uplift others with a spirit of sharing.

The Stage of Self-Expression

Diligentia College gave Li Sumeng the space to express herself and grow. Serving as the President of the Sports Association, she found her own light. To younger students still finding their way, she offers sincere advice: “Follow what you love. Let your mind be undistracted. Find excellence in the ordinary, because life is vast, and every detail contains infinite potential.”
