With her radiant smile, crescent-shaped eyes, and naturally uplifting presence, He Tiantian leaves a warm impression in every conversation. When asked to describe herself, she chose three words: determined, straightforward, and helpful. Her unwavering thirst for knowledge, courage to face challenges head-on, and cheerful optimism form the backbone of her unique character. Through four years of university life, she has grown more mature—learning to view each pressure-filled experience, such as graduate school applications, as a stepping stone to personal development.

A Vibrant Life on Campus

He Tiantian has a treasure trove of unforgettable memories at Diligentia College. She’s a true event enthusiast, fully embracing the stage provided by the college to showcase her multiple talents. Over three years as a student assistant (graphic designer), she refined her aesthetic and editorial skills. She found joy under the sun as a member of the Mountain & Sea Outdoor Club, and she left a graceful mark performing in the Diligentia Modern Times Music Festival. One of her most memorable contributions was organizing a custom cocktail booth at the Mid-Autumn Carnival — offering a fresh and festive experience to the community.

To her, Diligentia College is more than a school — it is a warm, welcoming family filled with humanity and education. With its constant stream of engaging events and inclusive spirit, the college gave her a sense of belonging and appreciation for the beauty of student life.

Living Through Experience

Among the many impactful experiences in her university life, one stood out: her involvement with EGO, a student-led public service organization focused on educational empowerment. Through EGO, she designed and taught diverse classes—from psychology to traditional Chinese culture—helping children experience something beyond the ordinary. From online platforms to in-person classrooms, she witnessed the transformation from theory to practice, and truly felt the power of education. This journey also played a key role in shaping her future career goals — a deep passion that still lights up her expression when she speaks of it.

She also served as a teaching assistant, experiencing the essence of education firsthand and sharpening her communication and instructional skills. Whether brainstorming projects or helping classmates, she built a close-knit network of mutual support and success.

When facing academic and personal challenges, He Tiantian learned to thrive by cultivating a positive mindset. “Environment shapes growth, but mindset determines altitude,” she shared. She emphasized three keys to success: understanding pressure, making independent choices, and setting clear goals — all of which helped her move forward step by step, even in the face of uncertainty.

Looking Ahead: A Life of Purpose

As she prepares to begin her next chapter at the University of Hong Kong, He Tiantian remains rooted in her passion for education. She hopes to find a career that is not only fulfilling but also deeply meaningful. When asked for advice to her juniors, she replied with a bright smile:

“Experience more.”

Because life, like the sea, is vast and full of unknowns—and only by immersing yourself in a range of experiences can you truly make informed, meaningful choices. “University is a precious chapter. If you miss the chance to experience it now, it may never come again.”

As she says goodbye to Diligentia College and her undergraduate years, He Tiantian reflects:
